I’m Aelgyrr Sønstegard, The Celtic Viking — and I make machines talk like people talk.

My work spans the full landscape of conversational AI: voice and IVR, chatbots, multimodal interfaces, and LLM-driven systems — across healthcare, finance, travel & hospitality, and beyond. I design the conversations that happen between humans and technology: the voice that guides you through a pharmacy refill (and gets it right!), the chatbot that actually understands what you're asking, the system that handles hundreds of thousands of calls a day but makes each one feel like the only one that matters — because it is; it’s yours.

I'm passionate about words — not as decoration, but as tools. The right word at the right moment solves a problem. The wrong one creates three more. That's true whether the words come from a human, an IVR, or a large language model — and knowing the difference between what AI can say and what it should say is where my craft lives.
